From Grove to Table: Winmark’s Estate-Grown Olives

At Winmark Wines, it’s not just the Chardonnay vines that thrive on our rich Hunter Valley soil — our estate-grown olive trees are another cherished part of the landscape, producing beautiful fruit that reflects the same care and attention we bring to every aspect of the property. Our olive grove sits proudly among the vines, offering a striking contrast of silvery green leaves and robust trunks. Throughout the year, the trees are carefully tended, and when harvest time arrives, the olives are handpicked and prepared for enjoyment in their purest form.Once harvested, the olives are processed and preserved to retain their natural flavour and firmness, then bottled in jars and available to purchase from our cellar door. These delicious, briny bites are a favourite among visitors — a true taste of the estate to take home and savour.

The best way to enjoy our olives?  Right here at Winmark, as part of one of our signature grazing platters. Served alongside local cheeses, nuts, dried fruit, preserves and artisanal crackers, our olives add a perfect salty note to complement a glass of chilled Chardonnay. It’s a simple pleasure that perfectly captures the essence of a wine tasting experience at Winmark — relaxed, generous, and deeply connected to the land.
