After the devastating fires and during the pandemic, I found it hard to keep from slipping into depressive, ruminative thinking patterns. Sitting quietly & meditatively in my garden, I began to watch the bees visiting the flowers on my brassicas and found wonder & joy in the perfect symmetry of the flower heads. Each flower had enough room and provided a landing place for bees to collect pollen, and through this I began to reconnect to the natural flow of world and my place in it. This work was born out of that time.
