Camilla Blachmann’s creative power is unique, humble and alluring. In a newly established gallery and workshop in the small, magical mountain town of Ceriana and in her hometown of Copenhagen, Camilla’s artwork is shaped
and redeemed.
Her works are a combination of sharp graphic colours,
a mastery of the vivid, yet at the same time a dreamy and ornamental image creation.
Not many visual artists are capable of this empathetic inclusion of scenery from the course of life and all it’s transitions.
Camilla’s goals are to master the contrast in light and darkness, the contrast in life. She often uses metaphors from different cultures and civilizations – it creates a rhythm that is reminiscent of the larger meaning – but also of greatness and sometimes loneliness.
In her work as an artist, Camilla Blachmann, without reservation and with an extreme professional openness, also contributes to artistic processes in society’s cultural and learning institutions. For her, relationships and the world around her are an essential part of her inspiration.
Camilla exhibited at Winmark’s Danish “KULTURSALON” December 2021. She is now contributing to the Winmark Art Gallery with a small capsule collection of paintings for Winmark Wines with one of her favourite subjects – The Hot Air Balloon.
