Agnes Bruck is a Sydney and NSW regional based artist who has been selected for numerous art prize exhibitions including the Portia Geach three times, The Salon des Refuses two times, The Tattersalls Landscape Prize, The Inaugural Benalla Nude, The Pro Hart Outback Art Prize, The ANL prize and The Bluethumb Art Prize ( Highly Commended) and the Blackstone Gallery works on paper Prize. She has twice been a semifinalist in the Moran Portrait Prize.
She is both a Portrait and Landscape Artist and draws inspiration from the natural world in particular the landscapes of the Hunter and upper Hunter Valleys and the oceanscapes of Pittwater, NSW. Agnes has undertaken charity work for The Starlight Foundation taking art classes for children in the Starlight room at Westmead Hospital.
In addition she has staged life portrait drawing for Barnardo’s at Bar M. charity functions and at ETF fundraisers. Her work has been auctioned at the Taronga Zoo Zoofari fund raiser.
Agnes is skilled at creating hand drawn digital animations for music videos and also enjoys an experimental art practice that includes making recycled paper support for oil paintings.
