On Monday, 16th September, Winmark Wines had the pleasure of hosting an unforgettable afternoon of art, culture at their Art Gallery with esteemed British sculptor and Principal of Hampstead School of Art, Isabel H Langtry.

The event saw guests gather from 1–3 pm for a delightful High Tea, which included an exquisite selection of sandwiches, petit-fours, macarons, and, of course, coffee and tea. Upon arrival, attendees were treated to a refreshing glass of either Sparkling Tea or Winmark's own Chardonnay, setting the tone for an afternoon of creative inspiration.

Isabel H Langtry, known for her impressive large-scale sculptures and her commitment to fostering a love of art within communities, shared her journey as an artist and educator. As Principal of Hampstead School of Art in London, she inspires her students and visitors alike, encouraging them to embrace sculpture and explore the joy of art collecting.

Her works, such as Bliss — a piece that was one of 12 sculptures selected from over 2000 international submissions to be permanently installed in the Beijing Olympics Sculpture Park — demonstrate her ability to connect with people on a communal level. Her vision of creating new heritage and collective memories resonated with the audience as they engaged in thoughtful discussions throughout the afternoon.

This intimate event beautifully blended art and conversation with the serene setting of Winmark's gallery, offering a perfect opportunity for attendees to connect over a shared passion for creativity. The combination of Winmark’s picturesque surroundings and Isabel’s artistic insights made it a truly memorable day.
