Devotion and vulnerability en masse. Combined with the lyrics from ‘Take me to church’ sloppily written in the background, it is not all as sweet as it seems. The young doe is innocent and needs protection not to end up a prey for preditors. It is all about leaning in and letting higher forces lead the way.

About the Artist: Danish artist Julie Bidstrup creates paintings, lithographs and collages inspired by street art and impressionism. Her artwork is layered by stories, symbolism and contrasts. Changing patterns, chaos, quirky characters and destinies are recurring themes in her works.
