Kate Nielsen is a Sydney based Australian painter who works with oil paint on canvas. Kate creates intensely coloured often tilted plane, still life compositions. Her subjects are primarily tablescapes, interiors and landscapes. Her work explores places that hold memory as she visually records intimate stories of peoples lives and personal spaces.
