The Winmark 2022 Rusty's Run Chardonnay was Crafted by Winmark Wines Estate, with fruit picked and pressed in the cool of the early morning for maximum freshness and vinifi ed with traditional techniques whilst maintaining vibrancy and freshness. The aromas of toasted spice herald fl avours of white peach and ripe citrus. An intriguing style with warmth, complexity and grace.

The Winmark 2021 Winmark Chardonnay was harvested in the cool night air and respected this superb fruit throughout fermentation and maturation with protective and gentle handling. The resultant wine charms with a striking pale lemon hue, bursting with elderflower and white peach aromas. The palate is juicy and intriguing, with stone fruits and ripe Meyer lemon notes supported with elegant spices. Enjoy now or cellar with confidence for up to 5 years.

We enjoyed perfect harvesting conditions and picked the immaculate fruit for the Winmark 2021 Single Vineyard in the cool of the morning, which we gently pressed to ensure absolute freshness.

We fermented the free run juice and matured the resultant wine in fi ne grained French Oak for 11 months. Finally, we gently racked and bottled the wine to ensure that we captured the essence of the vineyard.

This wine is pure and inviting from the wonderful lemon colour to the fine and persistent finish. The youthful flavours of white stone fruits and nashi pear supported with soft spices are a delight. However, the journey is only beginning as the wine will evolve beautifully with the benefi t of cellaring to reveal layers of toastiness, richness and depth. The fruit was hand-harvested and gently whole bunch pressed to maintain freshness. The cool juice was then fermented with indigenous yeast and matured in Marcel Cadet French oak barrels for eleven months.

This wine needs no introduction as she is the epitome of the site. Powerful yet precise with the depth and grace that only mature vines can deliver.

This Chardonnay will continue to develop beautifully in cellar for up to 10 years, or enjoy its youthful vibrancy now.
