LOVE & FORGETTING – Tales from a Young Mixer is a timeless blend of song, story, and stardust memory. Bursting with nostalgia, the performance will transport you to a bygone era through a magical journey inspired by classic cinema, literary icons, and beloved tunes of yesteryear. It’s a heartfelt tribute to storytelling, community, and the regional hospitality that makes the Hunter Valley so special.
RARE BIRD ensemble, founded by internationally acclaimed theatre artist Jeremy James and WAAPA graduate Jack Martin, will bring this captivating performance to life. LOVE & FORGETTING debuted at the Sofitel Melbourne On Collins as part of its Artists-in-Residence program, and has been touring to sold-out audiences ever since.

Guests will enjoy a three-course meal curated by Sea Salt & Sage, renowned for their dedication to fresh, locally sourced ingredients. A drink-on-arrival, together with a complimentary glass of premium wine is included in the ticket, with cocktails and other wines available to purchase, including the award-winning Chardonnay from Winmark Wines’ 28 acres of vines.
