This 2022 Single Vineyard Reserve Chardonnay is a celebration of the skill and determination of viticulturalist Liz Riley, vineyard manager Dave Grosser, international wine consultant John Belsham and owner Karin Adcock.
The 2022 Winmark Rusty’s Run chardonnay is fruit picked and pressed in the cool of the early morning for maximum freshness.

Winmark 2022 Single Vineyard Reserve Chardonnay
We enjoyed perfect harvesting conditions and picked the immaculate fruit for the Winmark 2022 Single Vineyard in the cool of the morning, which we gently pressed to ensure absolute freshness.
We fermented the free run juice and matured the resultant wine in fine grained French Oak for 11 months. Finally, we gently racked and bottled the wine to ensure that we captured the essence of the vineyard.All Products
This wine is pure and inviting from the wonderful lemon colour to the fine and persistent finish. The youthful flavours of white stone fruits and nashi pear supported with soft spices are a delight. However, the journey is only beginning as the wine will evolve beautifully with the benefit of cellaring to reveal layers of toastiness, richness and depth. It will age gracefully yet never lose form.

Winmark 2023 Rusty’s Run Chardonnay
Pale lemon in colour, this approachable young wine has hints of citrus, nashi pear and apple, which flow seamlessly into lovely cashews and steel-cut oats on the back palate. The finish is clean, crisp and perfectly balanced with a backbone of lively acidity. A fruit-driven wine, with subdued oak giving this wine a modern style, great texture and approachability. Designed for early drinking but with careful cellaring, it will reward for up to 5 years.
